Private Classes & Workshops
Originally, yoga and meditation was taught by one teacher directly to one student. The great ancient teachers understood the importance of individualizing each yoga and meditation experience to meet the needs of the student. Today, a private session allows for a more intimate view into your practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your practice or spend some time working with an injury or condition. When you work with a teacher one on one, the teacher is able to help you experience the benefits of yoga and meditation in a safe, personal way.
Private yoga and meditation is an invaluable tool for students of all levels and experience. Private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest. You can work with the teacher of your choice or we can match a teacher to meet your expressed needs. Private Yoga can help you deepen your practice, gain confidence, answer questions and provide guidance. Our teachers can develop a home practice tailored to your individual needs.
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga integrates 5,000-year-old Vedic wisdom and the yogic interpretations of Dr.'s Chopra and Simon. The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga is a consciousness-based Hatha yoga program infused with teachings from Dr. Chopra's classic bestseller The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. Hatha Yoga is the study of the asanas or postures based on Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga.
Our Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga retreat and classes offers a balanced approach that can be taken more deeply or gently, depending on the needs of the individual. We guide students to experience body-centered restful awareness, which in turn helps each student find the perfect way to do the postures.Lotus Oasis Retreats offers Yoga classes using body-and-breath-in-motion for unique stretching, toning, and relaxation. The demands of daily life take a toll on your body and your mind. Participants say that our classes create time to make their health and well-being a priority. Just getting to a class provides the opportunity to reduce stress, relieve stiffness, and feel more peaceful and productive in all areas of life.
Primordial Sound Meditation
Primordial Sound Meditation is a Mindfulness Meditation technique that support the connection to spirit, or source, and rejuvenation of your mind-body and spirit. This practice allows us to experience inner calm and deep relaxation. For thousands of years, people have used meditation to move beyond the mind's busy activity and emotional turbulence into profound peace and expanded awareness.
In the 21st century, the restful awareness we experience during meditation is more valuable than ever. The pace of life has accelerated, and every day we are bombarded with more information and stimulation than our ancestors encountered during entire lifetimes. Not surprisingly, the number of people suffering from stress, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic health problems is on the rise – and many are searching for peace of mind.
Nine Breath Method Circle
We breathe not only to take in oxygen (as a fuel supply for our bodily processes) and to expell carbon dioxide (the 'waste'), but our breathing is also an energy exchange with the rest of the world.
Breathe animates our body. It has been said that inhaling and exhaling symbolizes the alternating rhythm of life and death, the manifestation of, and re-absorption back into, the Universe. Many ancient people believed that our breathe is the vehicle of the soul. In Greek the word for soul and air were synonymous: pneuma. In the Vedas of India the vital principle, self, or soul was called 'Atman' or 'Atmen', which also means air and which is recognizable to us in an other Greek word fro air: 'atmos', from which we derive our word for the atmosphere.
Lotus Oasis Retreats offers unique type of Pranayama using a technique called, "The Nine Breath Method" or Tumo from the chinese tradition. This type of Breathe work is perhaps the most beneficial for the mind and body, because when you deal with the breathe, you are dealing not only with the incoming and outgoing air to the lungs, you are also dealing with the feelings that are produced through the Qi that surge through your body. You will learn how to sensitize yourself to the Qi, and allow it to flow unimpeded and effortlessly through you.
The goal of this circle is to energize your body, feel a connection to the ALL, experience bliss, ground oneself, and stimulate compassion. To awaken oneself to one's true nature is to become fully conscious.

Qigong
Qigong (also spelled Ch'i Kung) is a powerful system of healing and energy medicine from China. It is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate the life energy (qi). Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a tranquil state of mind.
The documented history of qigong goes back approximately 2,500 years. However Chinese archaeologists and historians have found references to qigong-like techniques at least five thousand years old.
Because qigong includes both dynamic and gentle techniques that can be practiced from standing, seated, or supine postures, it is suitable for young and old. Practices can be tailored to individual needs making it an ideal aid to recovery from illness or injury. Qigong is a form of complementary medicine. It works well with other forms of therapy and should never be used as a substitute for necessary treatment by a physician.
Hatha Yoga
What most people refer to as "Beginner Yoga" is actually Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga is a system of yoga introduced by Yogi Swatmarama, a yogic sage in the 15th century in India. This particular system of yoga is the most popular one, and it is from which several other Styles of Yoga originated including Power Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. The word "hatha" comes from the Sanskrit terms "ha" meaning "sun" and "tha" meaning "moon". Thus, Hatha Yoga is known as the branch of Yoga that unites pairs of opposites referring to the positive (sun) and negative (moon) currents in the system. It concentrates on the third (Asana) and fourth (Pranayama) steps in the Eight Limbs of Yoga.
Hatha Yoga tries to achieve balance between body and mind, as well as attempts to free the more subtle spiritual elements of the mind through physical poses or Asanas, Breathing Techniques or Pranayama, and Meditation.

Raindrop Therapy Technique
Raindrop Therapy is a powerful, non-invasive tool for helping to correct defects in the curvature of the spine. It has resolved numerous cases of scoliosis and kyphosis and eliminated the need for back surgery for thousands of people.
Raindrop Therapy originated from the research of Dr. D. Gary Young, ND and a Lakota medicine man almost two decades ago. It integrates Vita Flex and massage therapy with essential oils to bring the body into structural and electrical alignment.
Raindrop Therapy is based on the theory that many types spinal misalignment are caused by viruses or bacteria. These pathogens create inflammation, which in turn, contorts and disfigures the spinal column.
The essential oils used, are derived from plants, flowers, bark, and shrubs. It is the very life force of the plant that innately carry their own intelligence and frequency. This intelligence and electrical frequency, when combined with the intelligence and electrical frequency of the body create a greater healing process. If you give the body the proper tools with which to work it is capable of healing itself.
